As a Tax Accountant, you will work in a team environment to help ensure that Lithia complies with sales and use tax and similar reporting obligations for its nationwide network of automotive dealerships. You may also work to support the company’s income tax and financial reporting functions as needed.
Operating as an integral part of the tax department requires constant communication with all tax team members, other departments at Lithia’s corporate headquarters and satellite offices, and with Lithia’s dealerships. Success ultimately includes knowledge of tax laws, company policies and procedures, corporate accounting, and store operations as they relate to sales taxes.
