    Lithia Motors, Inc.

    Copywriter and Corporate Communications-LAD Marketing


    This role is a key partner to Lithia senior leadership, Lithia’s Support Services, and the LAD Marketing team to create impactful, relevant messages to many different audiences.  In each of these areas, we will promote the Lithia’s brand (or our store brands) with consistent, culture-enhancing, business-building messages. This may require developing original content (based on self-directed research) and/or augmenting content developed by other marketing partners.  In addition, this position may partner with external agencies to develop comprehensive campaigns.


    Your contributions will result in more effective Lithia corporate communications and store communications.  Your goal should be to help us make every communication with consumers, employees and investors more easily understood and more relevant-conveying our unique ability to meet their needs.


    You will be working with a variety of Lithia senior leadership, store leaders and LAD Marketing team members. This role reports to T. Dobry, Chief Marketing Officer.

    Job Description



    Brand/Content Development

    • Responsible for partnering with internal team members and external agencies to support Lithia corporate branding and regional brand identities consistent with strategic objectives.


    Corporate Communications/Cultural Consistency

    • Responsible for assisting in development of Lithia brand external communications and press releases.
    • Responsible for increasing awareness of Lithia brand through social media platforms.
    • Responsible for reviewing Lithia Support Services internal departmental communications.


    Strategic Communications

    • Responsible for assisting in the development of strategic communications and marketing plans developed in conjunction with acquisition opportunities and manufacturer presentations.


    Retail Copywriting

    • Responsible for writing and/or reviewing video, radio, print and digital retail communications for our store clients.



    • Individual projects, deadlines and priorities will be reviewed with Supervisor
    • Thoroughness, accuracy, and timeliness in completing essential duties and leading projects
    • Strategic mindset and judgement (awareness of all stakeholders) in developing communications



    The following knowledge, skills and abilities are needed to be successful in this position:

    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
    • Ability to self-direct and solve problems
    • A dedication to see things from our customer’s perspective
    • A passion to simplify communications
    • Ability to comprehend data and apply to strategic analyses



    • Some college required, BA/BS preferred
    • Study of English grammar or writing preferred

    Lithia Minimum Hiring Requirements


    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • 18 years or older
    • Possess a driver’s license in your state of residence
    • Pass a motor vehicle report
    • Pass a 7 year criminal background check
