    MERCHANDISING ADMIN/PHOTOGRAPHER

     

    This position supports the sales departments by keeping online vehicle photos up-to-date and current. The Merchandising Department ensures all vehicle photos accurately represent our products and help provide customers with as much information as possible during their online shopping journey.

     

    The Merchandising Administrator reports to the Merchandising Manager and is expected to complete tasks as assigned to further the success of the dealership’s online retail presence.

     

    Job Description

     

    Essential Functions and Duties

    • Ensure good photo quality and 20 image presence of each new vehicle photographed
    • Ensure vehicles are photo ready, depicting the inventory at its best
    • Assist department in maintaining online image presence goals
    • Photograph pre-determined selection of vehicles
    • Provide support and back-up to the Merchandising Manager
    • Stage and prepare cars for photographs as needed
    • Others duties as assigned based on need, seasonality and market demands

     

    Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    The following abilities are needed to be successful in this position:

    • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and store management
    • Ability to manage one’s time effectively and efficiently
    • Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics; must be comfortable moving various types of vehicles, regardless of size or transmission
    • Basic smart phone and smart camera skills

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Physical Demands: extended periods of standing and walking; driving, moving and parking vehicles; ability to move up to 50 pounds.
    • Safe driving skills based on current conditions and applicable laws.
    • Working Conditions: moderate to loud noise and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

     

    Carbone Hiring Requirements

    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • 18 years or older
    • Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence
    • A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment
    • Clear pre-employment drug screen
