    The Banking Administrator will be a part of the team located at Lithia Motors headquarters in Medford, Oregon.  You will be responsible for a variety of functions which require excellent communication, customer service and time management skills. We are seeking organized, detail oriented, and dependable candidates who are driven to succeed and grow with the company.

    Job Description



    General Responsibilities

    • Data entry
    • Problem solving
    • Support projects
    • Conduct research in order to answer questions and find solutions for our customers
    • Provide excellent service to internal and external customers via phone, email and face-to-face interaction
    • Maintain positive working relationships with various vendors and business partners
    • Ability to frequently maneuver between standard and specialized software programs as well as manufacturer and banking websites
    • Provide departmental back-up, as needed

    Detailed Responsibilities: Training will be provided           

    • Prepare monthly and quarterly audits to ensure compliance with procedures
    • Prepare monthly flooring reconciliations for assigned accounts
    • Perform assigned duties related to inventory management – Posting new vehicle inventory, computer based, data entry
    • Process flooring payoffs and requests for car deals
    • Make accurate entries and adjustments
    • Acquisition preparation and support
    • Communicate errors, unusual items, proposed solutions and process improvement opportunities
    • Actively communicate with supervisor and escalate concerns
    • Other duties and special projects, as assigned


    • Meet and exceed individual objectives as defined by supervisor
    • Adhere to schedules and deadlines
    • Thoroughness, accuracy, and timeliness in completing essential duties


    The following knowledge, skills and abilities are needed to be successful in this position:

    • Accurate 10-key, preferably above 7,500
    • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
    • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
    • Active Listening – give full attention to the words and body language of others, take time to understand the points being made and ask questions as appropriate
    • Critical Thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
    • Time Management – ability to prioritize workload and manage one’s own time


    • Associate of Arts Degree, a plus
    • A background in data entry and customer service
    • Previous experience as a vehicle administrator

    Lithia Hiring Requirements

    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • 18 years or older
    • Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence
    • A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment
    • Clear pre-employment drug screen
