    This posting is for a full-time, entry level position. Scheduled hours vary, and can include Saturdays.

    Job Description

    Business Development Center Representative

     

    Responsibilities:

    The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative is responsible for developing, processing, managing, following up and tracking all Lithia customers as it pertains to parts, service and sales departments within Mercedes-Benz of Portland.

    • Gather accurate customer information to create a database for continual follow-up and retention
    • Build and maintain knowledge of product information, current sales pricing, and dealership and manufacturer events and promotions.
    • Follow up with customers about their Lithia experience, resolve any issues or concerns that they may have encountered and escalate any major issues for further review.
    • Set solid appointments with daily customer call-ins, lists of sold and unsold floor traffic, previous Lithia customers, referrals, other generic leads and service and parts customers.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior customer service experience, required
    • Experience working in a dealership setting, preferred
    • Ability to work Saturdays (as needed)
    • Be a team-player focused on providing exemplary customer service
    • Strong inter-personal communication skills, including the ability to present information in a clear and professional manner
    • Be comfortable communicating both in-person and over the phone
    • Basic computer skills, including the ability to type accurately and efficiently
    • Be at least 18 years of age 
    • Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license in state of residence.
