    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Direct and collaborate with skilled financial Area Controllers
    • Roll out and drive initiatives in a motivating and propelling manner
    • Work closely with Platform Vice President to develop action plans for region profitability, CSI/SSI, staffing, etc. goals
    • Ensure team is focused on appropriate area opportunities:
      • People: Hiring and developing Office Managers in a timely manner
      • Process: Office audit opportunities and process improvements
      • Profitability: Analyzing results of stores with cost control opportunities and working capital management opportunities
    • Develop action plans for all acquisitions, open points and divestitures in region
    • Coordinate annual review and update of policies and procedures
    • Review regional findings from internal audit, corporate reviews, etc. and implement action plans for training on identified weaknesses
    • Supports key financial control efforts, including adherence to stores policies relating to SOX
    • Contribute to operations / financial projects as needed

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university or commensurate experience
    • Five years of experience in leadership roles with increasing degree of responsibility
    • Experience with ADP Dealer Services
    • Ability to work with high performing personnel
    • Prior dealership or operational accounting experience, with increasing responsibilities
    • Ability to set priorities and work independently
    • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Possess an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence
