Job Description

Client Care Representative




The Lithia Client Care Representative is responsible for updating customers on account status as well as generating additional opportunities to do business from our existing book of sales and service customers via outbound and inbound phone and email communication.


The Lithia Client Care Representative reports to the Customer Retention Manager, and partners with the sales department to ensure proper customer hand-off. 

  • Consistently meet and exceed goals relating to outbound calls, accurately logging notes from customer conversations, and generating new business opportunities in the form of appointments for the sales team.
  • Use customer feedback to create an individual follow up pipeline.
  • Work as a team to complete daily follow up calls assigned to the department.
  • Assist in developing accountable, continuous improvement plans for assigned store(s), by observations and conducting meetings with the Customer Retention Manager.
  • Partner with the sales managers to ensure a quality customer hand-off and transfer of notes from one system to another.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of product information, dealership/department processes, and keep current with certifications and licenses.


  • Achieve call volume and appointment goals.
  • Set daily appointments
  • Time Management – manage one’s own time
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including but not limited to typing, Microsoft Outlook email and Internet browser navigation.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and pleasant, professional demeanor in every customer interaction
  • Be a quick learner, able to multi-task and consistently complete all steps in the process.
  • Have strong work ethic, be self-motivated and transparent/honest in all activities relating to generating commission.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license in state of residence
  • A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment
  • Clear pre-employment drug screen
