Are you friendly and outgoing?  Do you have a knack for providing outstanding customer service?

 

DCH Honda of Nanuet is searching for talented Business Development Specialists to work with our Sales and Service teams.

 

The ideal candidate is someone who can set appointments for our busy Service Department in addition to greeting our Service guests and introducing them to our Sales Associates.  

 

As our dealership BDC Specialist, you will respond to and communicate with our current and prospective customers via email and phone. 

 

Ideal candidates will be energetic, sales-minded and customer-focused. You must be able to handle heavy call volume and have the ability to get customers in the door while maintaining outstanding phone etiquette. You must be computer proficient with outstanding verbal and written communication skills and comfortable communicating via email.  Dealership experience is a plus but not required.

 

In this position, you will work with the department managers in order to maximize opportunities by helping with customer follow up. If you are friendly, outgoing and have great organizational skills, we invite you to apply.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

The Business Development Center Specialist: Sales/Service is responsible for setting appointments for our busy Service Department in addition to greeting our Service guests and introducing them to our Sales Associates.  

  • This is a full-time position from 8 am – 6 pm.
  • Answer inbound customer phone calls. Make outbound calls to connect with our Service Customers.
  • Determine each customer's needs by asking the correct questions
  • Set appointments for service team and follow up to confirm
  • Greet Service Customers and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Introduce customers to sales team, as appropriate
  • Enter customer information into CRM

Qualifications:

  • Customer-focused and self-motivated
  • Experience in customer service, call center or sales
  • Ability to handle heavy phone volume
  • Persuasive- with a knack for sales and customer service
  • Strong communication skills –verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Possess an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license in state of residence.
  • Be at least 18 Years of age
  • A criminal history background check will be conducted prior to beginning employment
  • Clear pre-employment drug screen
